Abstract

One of the problems in learning Akidah Akhlak is to build a foundation of understanding of the proof of aqidah and raise the Akidah Akhlak subject as an interesting subject. To find a solution to these problems, namely by applying the Gallery Walk learning model. To achieve this goal, classroom action research was carried out in learning Akidah Akhlak by applying the Gallery Walk method which emphasized the aspects of division in large groups, delivery through lectures, demonstrations, field observation practice and group discussions. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four activities, namely ((1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection on the results of action research. The research subjects were grade VII students of MTsN 4 Cirebon in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, which amounted to 36 students. The results showed an increase in the absorption of student learning, namely: Initial (Pre test) showed an average score: 54.31 in the first cycle increased to an average score: 70, and in Cycle II increased to a score Average: 82.5 These results indicate an increase in the achievement of student absorption before and after the Gallery Walk model was applied in learning.
